Tekken 7 is a 3D fighting game with a wide cast of playable charcters which can range from bears, assasins and androids. A player wins by either reducing a opponents HP to zero or having the most HP at the end of a round.
At the beginning of the match players can pick any character to play if available except for banned characters which will vary depending on the current state of the competitive Tekken meta during the time of the event.Furtheremore, mirror match ups are allowed if it occurs. Also the stage chosen at the beginning of the match must be random. The player who wins a match must use the character character during the next match while the loser may change character or stage but not both. This process repeated until the series has concluded.
Furthermore, during in-house events players are allowed to use an arcade/fight stick. Also note that the arcade sticks should only have the gates and tops of the stick customized as well as button feel but can not contain macro functions.
Players are encouraged to bring their own controllers however controllers may be lended to players who don’t have a controller.
Mix Box, keyboard as well as any other unspecified controllers are banned from competitive play until the controller is verified for use within the event.
Each round will last 60 seconds and each game of Tekken will be a first to 3 rounds. Each game won will count as a set in a best of 3, 5 or 7 series. In the event of a draw created from a double K.O the set will not be counted in the series therefore the match will carry on as a normal series.
